What an RNG does, what independent outcomes mean, and why recent results do not make future random outcomes “due.”
An RNG is a system used to generate outcomes or inputs to outcomes in many digital gambling games. For independently generated events, prior outcomes do not create a debt that future spins or deals must repay.
Random does not mean evenly alternating
A fair random process can naturally create streaks, clusters and long gaps. Those patterns can look meaningful even when they arise by chance.
Independence
If spins are independent, ten reds in a row do not make black more likely on the next spin than the game rules already imply.
RNG versus live dealer
Live-dealer games use physical equipment and streamed human dealing/spinning rather than the same kind of digital outcome generation, although software still handles bets, interfaces and account logic.
Verification matters
The relevant question is not whether a site says “RNG,” but whether the game and operator are subject to the testing, certification and regulatory requirements of the market in which they operate.
What an RNG claim can and cannot establish
An RNG can generate unpredictable outcomes according to the implemented game model, but “uses an RNG” does not by itself prove a particular paytable, RTP, certification status or operator authorization. Those are separate claims requiring separate evidence.
Independence depends on the game design
For games designed as independent repeated trials, prior results do not make a future result due. Some products can include stateful features, jackpots or bonus meters, so the game rules still matter before making an independence claim.
Verification hierarchy
Use official game rules/paytables and regulator or testing information when available. Avoid treating screenshots of short result histories as evidence that a random process is biased or fair.
